Pastor Chris The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household of faith, surrounded by his loving and dedicated parents. Oyakhilome He is the father of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the pioneers in the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed down to her son in the early years of his life.
The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. His brother, Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), where there are a number of top gospel artists in the world.
Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by the name of CSO is a CSO member who has decided to follow the example of her father by sharing the Gospel of God the world. She is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where He earned an BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. While at Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to join the ministry and to be a servant to the Lord.
Pastor Chris: A Mentor
The Man Of God was in the University of Cambridge when he founded the church which would eventually grow to become one of largest in the world. His prayer group, 'Youth for Christ' would eventually become one of the campus' most well-known groups. These would go on to form LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
Under the leadership of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa 24/7 a day, on free-to air networks. Today, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite TV networks around the world.
Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Two Healing Schools are located in South Africa and Canada. In Canada Pastor Chris holds seasonal sessions which allow miraculous healing to occur.
Music and Gospel Music are an important part of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for gospel music. Christ Embassy Churches have a choir trained and supervised by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these singers are successful in their solo careers.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome created the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI), an international non-profit organisation. Oyakhilome Its purpose is to assist the most vulnerable people and communities in certain regions and countries of poverty all over the world.
The Man, God, has established a variety of non-profit organizations with the goal to provide essential services and hope. COFI has five partners that are all dedicated to raising living standards in some of the most underdeveloped areas.
COFI's umbrella encompasses the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to improve the lives and health of the most vulnerable.
His charity also provides sustenance to indigent children. Pastor Chris believes in building strong communities through the encouragement of responsible governance and accountability in leadership. As per the Sustainable Development Goals, Pastor Chris is also a proponent of sustainable development in Africa and other fragile regions of Africa through COFI.
